PR & Communication Manager
A leading European company in the organization of events BtoB and trade shows in the wine & spirits activity is looking for a PR / communication manager for its Shanghai office. The company organizes every year more than 10 professional events across the World.
In Asia, we have 3 main activities:
Promotion of the events organized by the branch in France with the organization of Chinese importers delegations to visit and to participate at the events in France.
- Organization of 2 wine business conventions in 2011, one located in Shanghai in May, and another one in Guangzhou in November
- Representative agency for a key account wine committee (High quality wines from France).
- We’re looking for someone, who will be in charge of this key account customer. The program of promotion and communication has been already settled and it is very ambitious and interesting.
We are in charge for them:
- Development of a website in Chinese and English,
- Organization of 3 press conferences,
- Trade shows participations,
- Organization of Master classes,
- Training and tastings for the employees of hotels and restaurants,
- Trip for journalists and importers in the region of those wines,
- Promotional sales in supermarkets,
- Promotional sales in restaurants.
The person recruited for this position will be in charge to manage all the actions planned for this promotion campaign (supervising the suppliers and the partners selected, who will be involved in this promotion). So we’re looking for someone with experience in PR, media relations, communication and marketing. See below the expectations for the position.
Languages: Native Chinese speaker, fluent in English, and in French (the client is French),
Education: Business school or equivalent,
Work experience: 3 years, with one year minimum in an International environment
Personal qualities: Creativity, sense of the organization, good management of her time, be strength of proposition, a relational common sense to manage the relations with customers, suppliers, partners and colleagues on a distant site are indispensable.
We are a small team in Shanghai for the moment, so the PR manager can be also in charge to help the rest of the team on the other activities of the company.
Salary package
Will depend of the candidate, but the package will be constituted of a basic salary and yearly bonus based on the results. Individual benefits are paid also by the company.

Assistant to Managing Director
A leading European company in the organization of events BtoB and trade shows in the wine & spirits activity is looking for a Sales Executive & Assistant to Chief Representative, for its Shanghai office.
The company organizes every year more than 10 professional events across the World. The “Assistant to Managing Director” has the responsibility to recruit Chinese buyers/importers/distributors in the wine and spirits field. This 1st and main scope will take 70% of his/her time. The rest of his/her time will be occupied by the daily good behaviour of the office in association with the Managing Director. Please see below the job scope and his/her responsibilities.
Job scope and responsibilities:
Office responsibilities
- Perform all secretarial tasks in the office,
- Assist the Chief Representative and the Project Manager,
- Write the monthly Chinese wine market report,
- Take part in any other tasks in the office that may be needed as part of team-working,
- Other tasks that may be defined later on based on the possibilities and the capacities.
Marketing responsibilities
- Development and qualification of the database,
- Contact and recruitment of Chinese buyers for the events organized,
- Contact with media, and development of sponsorships with media,
The profile
- Languages: Native Chinese speaker, fluent in English, and in French (but not compulsory),
- Education: Business school or equivalent,
- Work experience: 1 or 2 years, with one or half year in an International environment
- Personal qualities: Creativity, sense of the organization, good management of his time, be strength of proposition, a relational common sense to manage the relations with customers, suppliers, partners and colleagues on a distant site are indispensable.
Assistant to Project Manager
A leading European company in the organization of events BtoB and trade shows in the wine & spirits activity is looking for a Sales & office Assistant, for its Shanghai office.
The company organizes every year more than 10 professional events across the World. The “Assistant to Project Manager” has the responsibility to support/to help the sales team in the recruitment of Chinese buyers/importers/distributors in the wine and spirits field. This 1st and main scope will take 60% of his/her time. The rest of his/her time will be occupied by the daily good behaviour of the office in association with the Chief Representative.
